The 2008 Honolulu Family Festival is set for Thursday, August 7 to Sunday, August 10 and Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17, 2008, featuring rides by E.K. Fernandez Shows and live entertainment such as the High Flying Trapeze Show, The Racing Pigs, Backyard Circus & Puppet Parade, and local artists in the community tent

MAUI ONION FESTIVAL- 24th August 2008
Whalers Village Fine Shops & Restaurants will host its signature event, the Maui Onion Festival, on Saturday, August 23, 2008. The 19th annual event will move from a two-day to one-day festival with an extended time frame of 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. The event is free. Event details will be posted online at www.whalersvillage.com. ALOHA FESTIVALS 56TH WAIKIKI HO'OLAULE'A - 13th September 2008
Celebrating its 56th year and the 2008 theme of Hula, the largest block party will kick off at 6:30 PM with the arrival of the Royal Court. Eight stages of entertainment open with hula halau, lots of food and lei vendors and hula crafters will be spread along 12 city blocks of the world famous Kalakaua Avenue. Its the gathering of the year. Entertainment kicks off at 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Free admission but don't forget to get your Aloha Festivals ribbon.
